The closest Terryberry alternatives are O.C. Tanner and C.A. Short for full recognition platforms with service awards, Awardco and Bonusly for software-led recognition and rewards, Awards Network for choose-your-gift milestone programs, and Engage2Excel and Successories for service-award products. Fleets that want curated driver appreciation with fulfillment handled for them can also look at Driver Appreciation Solutions.

The eight options below, in no ranked order:

  1. O.C. Tanner
  2. C.A. Short Company
  3. Awardco
  4. Bonusly
  5. Awards Network
  6. Engage2Excel
  7. Successories
  8. Driver Appreciation Solutions (DAS)

Every vendor fact here comes from the vendor's own website, read on October 22, 2026, and linked at the claim. Vendors change their offers, so confirm details with each one before you buy. If you already know you want branded milestone and safety recognition for drivers, talk to a DAS fleet specialist.

What Terryberry offers, as the baseline

Terryberry is a recognition company that pairs software with physical awards. As of October 2026, its homepage describes an engagement program with modules for recognition (including service awards and performance incentives), rewards, wellbeing and employee surveys, and says it serves "44,000+ Organizations." Its symbolic awards page says Terryberry has been "handcrafting custom pieces in our Grand Rapids, MI factory since 1918," states "We don't have order minimums to get started," and says "Most custom orders are delivered within 3-5 weeks." Its about page says it started as a custom jewelry manufacturer. Terryberry publishes no prices; its site routes buyers to a demo.

So a fair alternative has to answer two questions: does it make or supply physical awards, and does it run the program (dates, addresses, delivery) or leave that to you?

1. O.C. Tanner

O.C. Tanner sells a recognition platform called Culture Cloud plus custom awards. As of October 2026, its service awards page says custom symbolic awards are "professionally designed and crafted in-house" and that recipients "receive a tailored Yearbook and a meaningful award," with "automated reminders, integrated award selection, and worldwide fulfillment." Its deskless employees page describes offline recognition tools and says "No corporate email, no problem." No prices are published.

Fits fleets that want an enterprise platform where service anniversaries come with a crowdsourced keepsake and a custom award. Our O.C. Tanner vs Terryberry comparison covers the two side by side.

2. C.A. Short

C.A. Short sells a recognition platform with programs for milestones, safety and incentives, and it has a page written for transportation. As of October 2026, its truck drivers and transportation page says the platform can "integrate with your telematics system to automatically track safe driving behaviors and reward the performance," offers "mobile-first peer and manager recognition," and automates years-of-service milestones. Its milestone awards page says awards ship "directly to your business location or an employee's home address." No prices are published.

Fits fleets that want a points-style platform tied to telematics safety data, with service awards in the same system.

3. Awardco

Awardco is a recognition and rewards platform. As of October 2026, its celebrations page says it can "recognize tenured employees with automated, global delivery of meaningful service awards," and that an automated milestone "can include points, a physical or curated award." Its pricing page is one of the few in this list with a published number: small businesses with "100 employees or less" can get packages "starting at $3,000," and Awardco lists a plan for "teams that just want service awards, nothing more."

Fits fleets that want software-run service awards and a large reward catalog, with a stated entry price for smaller companies.

4. Bonusly

Bonusly is peer recognition software with a rewards catalog. As of October 2026, its pricing page lists a free plan for "Up to 8 users," a Team plan at "$5/user/mo" monthly or "$50/user/year" annually (or "$3/user/month" without its AI assistant), and custom pricing for larger organizations. The same page says rewards are billed at face value, so a $10 gift card costs $10, and that paid plans automate milestone celebrations.

Fits fleets that have office, dispatch and shop teams who work in Slack or Microsoft Teams and want everyday peer recognition. It is software-first rather than a physical service-award house.

5. Awards Network

Awards Network runs gift-choice programs for milestones and safety. As of October 2026, its homepage says it has been trusted "since 1954" and offers "no contracts, no per-user fees." Its service milestones page says the company tracks each anniversary date, sends the recipient "a personal link to choose their own gift," with "no home address required from your team," and ships the gift at no charge.

Fits fleets that want drivers to pick their own gift and do not need custom-made, fleet-branded pieces.

6. Engage2Excel

Engage2Excel sells recognition programs and recruitment services. As of October 2026, its service milestones page describes a magnetic "build-an-award system" that adds pieces across a career, a service recognition collection, and a peer celebration tool with eCards, photos and video messages. No prices are published.

Fits fleets that like the idea of one award that grows with each milestone, and want peer messages around it.

7. Successories

Successories sells awards and corporate gifts by the piece. As of October 2026, its years of service awards page lists plaques, crystal awards and trophies "with free engraving, free logo, and free setup," and its catalog includes anniversary pins and certificates.

Fits fleets that run their own program and only need to buy the award itself. Your team keeps the dates, the addresses and the presentation.

8. Driver Appreciation Solutions (DAS)

Driver Appreciation Solutions is a specialist in recognition programs for the trucking industry, focused on curated driver appreciation and fulfillment. DAS offers years-of-service awards and keeps career and safety recognition on separate tracks, so a driver's tenure and safety record are honored distinctly. Mileage medals run from 1 million to 6 million miles on both tracks; the 250K and 500K medals are coming soon. Every piece carries the fleet's logo, driver names and colors with no setup fee and no artwork charge, and artwork is proofed before production. Delivery goes to a terminal, one hub or individual drivers across the United States. The minimum order is 10 units on all items. Pricing is quoted per program. Request current pricing.

Fits fleets that want curated appreciation for professional drivers with fulfillment handled for them, rather than a software platform to administer. See driver milestone awards for how the two tracks work.

Questions to ask before you switch from Terryberry

Ask every vendor the same questions, in writing, so the answers compare.

  • Who keeps the dates? Will the vendor track hire dates and safe-driving anniversaries, or does your HR team send a list each month?
  • Where does the award go? To the terminal, to one hub, or to the driver's home? Drivers who are out for weeks may never see a terminal ceremony.
  • Do drivers need an app or a company email? Many drivers have neither. Ask how a driver with only a phone number receives recognition.
  • Are safety and service separate? A driver with 20 years of service and one preventable incident should still get the service award.
  • What is the minimum, and what is the lead time? Get both in writing for your busiest month, usually September for National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.
  • What happens on cancellation? Ask who owns the award designs, the dies and the recipient data.

Our planned guide to service award companies goes deeper on the service-award questions.

Choosing among Terryberry competitors

Start with how your drivers work. If most of your people sit at a desk, a software platform does most of the job. If most of them drive, the award has to reach them and mean something when it does. Pick two vendors, send both the question list above, and compare the written answers.
