Service award companies design, make or deliver years-of-service awards for employers. They fall into four groups: houses that pair a platform with custom awards (Terryberry, O.C. Tanner, C.A. Short, Engage2Excel), software that automates service awards (Awardco), gift-choice programs (Awards Network) and award catalogs (Successories). Trucking fleets should also ask whether a vendor can honor career miles.
The eight service award companies covered below, in no ranked order:
- Terryberry
- O.C. Tanner
- C.A. Short Company
- Engage2Excel
- Awardco
- Awards Network
- Successories
- Driver Appreciation Solutions (DAS)
Every vendor fact comes from the vendor's own website, read on October 22, 2026, and is linked at the claim. Confirm details with each vendor before you sign. If you want years-of-service and mileage awards built for drivers, request a program quote from DAS.
What a service award company does
A service award company handles some or all of a tenure recognition program: tracking anniversary dates, choosing or making the award, shipping it, and giving managers something to present. The split of work matters more than the catalog. Some vendors run the whole loop; others sell you the plaque and leave the rest to you.
The eight years-of-service award companies
1. Terryberry
As of October 2026, Terryberry's symbolic awards page says it has handcrafted awards "in our Grand Rapids, MI factory since 1918," offers rings, pins, digits and presentation kits for anniversaries "from 5-year celebrations to 50-year legacies," has no order minimums to get started, and delivers most custom orders "within 3-5 weeks." Its service award programs guide names milestones "such as 1, 5, 10, or 25 years of service."
Fits fleets that want US-made custom jewelry and pins with a stated production window.
2. O.C. Tanner
O.C. Tanner's service awards page says "Recipients receive a tailored Yearbook and a meaningful award," with custom awards "crafted in-house," automated reminders, integrated award selection and "worldwide fulfillment." The Yearbook gathers messages, photos and videos from coworkers.
Fits fleets that want coworker messages around each anniversary and run a large, mixed workforce on one platform.
3. C.A. Short Company
C.A. Short's milestone awards page describes an award portal in the employer's branding that sends letters and emails based on calendar dates, and ships brand-name merchandise "directly to your business location or an employee's home address." Its transportation page says it automates milestones so "staff and drivers receive immediate, meaningful celebration."
Fits fleets that want a points-style portal where drivers pick their milestone gift.
4. Engage2Excel
Engage2Excel's service milestones page describes a magnetic "build-an-award system that captures employees' accomplishments throughout the duration of their careers," a service recognition collection, and a peer celebration tool with eCards, photos and video.
Fits fleets that like one award that grows with each milestone.
5. Awardco
As of October 2026, Awardco's celebrations page says it can "recognize tenured employees with automated, global delivery of meaningful service awards." Its pricing page lists a Service Awards plan "for teams that just want service awards, nothing more," and small-business packages "starting at $3,000" for 100 or fewer employees.
Fits fleets that want software-run service awards with a published starting price.
6. Awards Network
Awards Network's service milestones page says it tracks every anniversary, sends the recipient "a personal link to choose their own gift," needs "no home address required from your team," and has "no contracts" and no per-user fees. Its suggested schedule covers 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25-plus years.
Fits fleets that want employees to choose a brand-name gift with no address handling.
7. Successories
Successories' years of service awards page lists plaques, crystal awards and trophies "with free engraving, free logo, and free setup," and its catalog includes anniversary lapel pins and certificates.
Fits fleets that run their own program and need the award item only.
8. Driver Appreciation Solutions (DAS)
Driver Appreciation Solutions is a specialist in recognition programs for the trucking industry, focused on curated driver appreciation and fulfillment. DAS offers years-of-service awards and runs two mileage tracks kept separate from each other: career Service Miles and Safe Service Miles, with medals from 1 million to 6 million miles. The 250K and 500K medals are coming soon. For custom programs, DAS can source jackets, blankets, rings and mileage decals. Every piece carries the fleet's logo, driver names and colors with no setup fee and no artwork charge, artwork is proofed before production, and delivery goes to a terminal, one hub or individual drivers across the United States. The minimum order is 10 units on all items. Pricing is quoted per program. Request current pricing.
Fits fleets that want tenure and mileage recognition for drivers, curated and fulfilled for them. See driver milestone awards and million-mile driver awards.

Which milestones to recognize
Vendors suggest different schedules. A trucking fleet usually adds a mileage track, because a driver's miles are a record in their own right.
| Milestone | Named on these vendor pages | Note for fleets |
|---|---|---|
| 1 year | Terryberry, Awards Network | Early milestones matter in roles with high early turnover |
| 3 years | Awards Network | Optional |
| 5, 10, 25 years | Terryberry, Awards Network | The common core |
| 15, 20 years | Awards Network | Add as your workforce ages |
| Career miles | Not on the vendor pages above | Run as a separate track, such as 1 million to 6 million miles |
| Safe miles or safe years | Not on the vendor pages above | Keep apart from tenure so one incident does not cancel a service award |

How many service awards will you need?
Count before you ask for quotes, so every vendor prices the same scope.
Awards due in the next 12 months = drivers and staff whose anniversary in that window is a milestone year + drivers reaching a mileage milestone in that window
Illustrative example: a fleet pulls hire dates and finds 14 people reaching 5 years, 6 reaching 10 years and 2 reaching 20 years in the next 12 months, and its mileage records show 3 drivers passing 1 million miles. That is 22 service awards plus 3 mileage awards. Send those counts, by month and by location, to each vendor.
12 questions to ask service award companies
Send these in writing and compare the answers side by side.
- Who tracks anniversary dates: your system, our HR team, or a file we send monthly?
- Can you honor career miles as well as years of service?
- Can safety recognition run on its own track, separate from tenure?
- Where can the award ship: one hub, each terminal, or a driver's home?
- Who collects home addresses, and how do you reach a driver with no company email?
- Does the driver choose the award, or do we?
- Will the award carry our logo and the driver's name? Is there a setup or artwork charge?
- Do we see a proof before production?
- What is the minimum order, per item?
- What is the production lead time in September, our busiest month?
- Can we buy by purchase order with invoice terms?
- What happens to personalized awards if a driver leaves before the presentation?
Choosing a service award company
If most of your people drive, put questions 2 through 5 first. If most work at a desk, platform features matter more. Shortlist two vendors, send both the 12 questions and the award count, and compare written answers.
For a driver-first program with two mileage tracks and fulfillment handled, request pricing from a DAS fleet specialist. A specialist replies in writing within one business day.
